Chillar’s journey in pageantry started beside Fbb Campus Princess 2016 where she was honoured as one of the final contestants from All India Institute of Medical Sciences throughout her college (Beat) fest in December 2016.
Thereafter, she proceeded on to obtain the name of FBB Femina Miss India Haryana in April 2017. During the contest, Chillar was delegated as Miss Photogenic and proceeded on to win the trial as well, gaining the right to represent India at the Miss World 2017 competition.
Chillar described India at Miss World 2017, where she matured a semifinalist in the Top Model, People’s Choice, and Multimedia competitions, and was the winner of the Head-to-Head Challenge from Group Nine and co-winner of the Beauty with a Purpose tournament.
The operation’s goal is to increase consciousness about menstrual sanitation. She toured about 20 hamlets for the project and operated over 5,000 women.
On 18 November 2017, Chillar was delegated Miss World 2017 by outgoing Miss World 2016 Stephanie Del Valle from Puerto Rico in the finals in Sanya, China. She was the 6th Indian woman to win the crown, and the first since Priyanka Chopra gained Miss World 2000.
