Brad Pitt\u2018s upcoming feature about Formula 1 racing has gotten a release date from Apple Original Films. The untitled movie will race into cinemas on June 27, 2025.<\/p>\n

Apple is partnering with Warner Bros. Pictures on the theatrical rollout. The tech giant has been releasing more of its movies in theaters before debuting them on its streaming service Apple TV+ along with other home entertainment platforms. In the past, Apple partnered with the likes of Sony on the release of \u201cNapoleon,\u201d Paramount on \u201cKillers of the Flower Moon\u201d and Universal on \u201cArgylle.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Formula 1 movie will be shown in Imax\u00a0theaters, which could become the de facto format for consumers interested in a movie that will be marketed heavily on its racing sequences. The June 2025 release date will pit the film against the opening of \u201cM3GAN 2.0,\u201d a sequel to Blumhouse\u2019s 2023 horror hit, \u201cM3GAN.\u201d The next weekend will bring an even bigger challenger \u2014 the debut of \u201cJurassic World 4,\u201d which will feature Jonathan Bailey, Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali and a lot of hungry dinos.<\/p>\n

The Formula 1 film will be directed by Joseph Kosinski, who previously oversaw \u201cTop Gun: Maverick.\u201d It co-stars Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia and Samson Kayo.<\/p>\n

The film is made in collaboration with\u00a0Formula 1. Ehren Kruger, who worked with Kosinski on \u201cTop Gun: Maverick,\u201d wrote the screenplay.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
