This is because her husband is involved with some shady people and there is the potential for violence. So, the three ladies end up going to Spain and hilarity ensues.<\/p>\n<p>The new series stars Eva Longoria, <strong>Carmen Maura, Victoria Baz\u00faa, <\/strong>and <strong>Santiago Cabrera<\/strong>. \u201cLand of Women\u201d is created by <strong>Ram\u00f3n Campos, Gema R. Neira, <\/strong>and <strong>Paula Fern\u00e1ndez<\/strong> and is directed by <strong>Carlos Sedes<\/strong>. The series is based on the novel \u201cLa Tierra de las Mujeres\u201d by author <strong>Sandra Barneda<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLand of Women\u201d debuts on Apple TV+ on June 26. You can watch the trailer below.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s the synopsis:<\/p>\n<p><em>Land of Women stars Eva Longoria as Gala, a New York empty nester whose life is turned upside down when her husband implicates the family in financial improprieties, and she is forced to flee the city alongside her aging mother (Maura) and teenage daughter (Baz\u00faa). To escape the dangerous criminals to whom Gala\u2019s now vanished husband is indebted, the three women hide in the same charming wine town in northern Spain that Gala\u2019s mother fled 50 years ago, vowing never to return.
