Mourning Becomes Electra<\/em>\u00a0is divided into three plays with themes that correspond to the\u00a0Oresteia<\/em>\u00a0trilogy. Published in 1931 the trilogy consists of Homecoming<\/em>, The Hunted<\/em>, and The Haunted<\/em>. The plays are set during the American Civil War and the characters are modeled after the trilogy of\u00a0Aeschylus.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
